Patcharawalai Wongboonsin, Ph.D. (2004), Kyushu University, Japan, is Professor of Demography at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She has published monographs and many articles on population development and social policies, including Modern Population Trends and the Family (Praeger, 2007)Jo-Pei Tan, Ph.D. (2007), University of Oxford, UK, is Lecturer at the Department of Social Care and Social Work, Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Parenting, family studies, and intergenerational relations in multicultural families are her research interests.
