Kent Frates is an Oklahoma City attorney who has practiced law in the state since 1964. He is author of the acclaimed true crime collection Oklahoma’s Most Notorious Cases, which won the Benjamin Franklin award for nonfiction in 2015. He is also known for two works of nonfiction, Oklahoma Hiking Trails and Oklahoma Courthouse Legends.
