Tze-si Huang is a professional writer and translator. He was born in Chungking, the youngest of 10 children. After facing and overcoming trials of both survival and becoming educated, he eventually immigrated to the USA. He attended New York University and Columbia University for post graduate studies. Demi is an award-winning illustrator of numerous books for children. Her books include The Empty Pot, Nightingale, The Emperor’s New Clothes, and Gandhi, which was named the New York Times Best Illustrated Book and received the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award.
