When I started this B-2 book project back in November 1988, I wasn’t quite sure where it would take me or how long the journey would be. My goal was to put something down in print that would show the world just how innovative the American aerospace industry is when they put their collective heads together to create Jack Northrop’s dream come true, the B-2A Spirit Stealth Bomber.I figured that I would be hindered by the very same mindset that surrounded the original Blackbird program: Cygnus to Senior Crown. The Blackbird’s unofficial/official policy toward the release of photos and information back in the late 1960s, through the end of the program in 1990, was not to cooperate, drag their feet on my FOIA requests, and just make life as difficult as they could in my questfor information.
作者簡介
因多古爾.阿斯科里德.伊万諾維奇，歷任設計局內的設計員、專業組長、室主任、試驗和研究分部部長。1979年進入莫斯科航空學院“飛機結構與設計”教研室，任副教授，教授，並獲得科學技術博士學位。他編寫了多部教材和科學技術專著。
