Seeking the Wisdom of the 50-Year-Old Woman

Do we get wiser as we get older, or do pain and love still feel the same?

Witnessing my twenty-year-old daughter go through the agony of heartbreak and rejection made me reflect on whether the pain was the same for me now as it had been in my twenties.

Her words of wisdom poured from her eyes. She did not need decades of suffering to become wise, it was already within her.

And so, the quest began. I asked women of all ages these two fundamental questions:

Does what mattered then, matter now?

And...

How do I find love again?

I set about asking brave, honest women at different stages of their life for their wisdom. This developed into a series of twenty-one poignant questions, which form this five-book series.

In this book, I focus on the wisdom of women in my decade, their 50s. Women who openly share their pain, their innermost thoughts and their insights.

I dare you to answer the same 21 questions I asked these women.
