Prayer is a conversation with God that doesn't require fancy words or long passages of Scripture. Lay your prayers at the Father's feet and wait for his powerful response. He adores you, and he's listening to every word you say.
Praise is a way for us to recognize all that he has done, who he is and express our gratitude to him. When we choose to focus on things we are grateful for, we become happier people. We begin to notice the little things that matter most. Life. Breath. Connection. Kindness. Beauty.
As you reflect on these devotional entries, Scriptures, and prayers, refocus your perspective. Spend the beginning and end of your day with God, experiencing his goodness and being refreshed in his presence. From the time you wake up, until the time you fall into bed at night, make prayer and praise a habit.
I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
Psalm 63:4 NLT
