Dental health of conscripts

The high prevalence and intensity of dental caries often leads to the development of acute purulent-inflammatory processes in the maxillofacial area. Along with this, the development of dental diseases of servicemen is adversely affected by such factors as: climatic and geographical conditions, the level of the environmental situation of the area in which they lived before being drafted into the RF Armed Forces (AF), professional conditions of life activity, and others. It follows that the improvement of existing forms and methods of rehabilitation of conscripts by a dentist during their stay in the RF Armed Forces acquires particular importance. In this connection the purposeful carrying out of research concerning the peculiarities of the dental health of conscripts is necessary for the further solution of problems of prevention and treatment of dental diseases of this category of persons.
