So today, your 3 year old decides that they don't want to eat the beautiful breakfast you made, he wants peanut butter and hotdogs, and that means, smear the hotdogs in peanut butter. Your 7 year old has decided that today is the day she wants to cry for absolutely no reason at all regardless of how much begging, bribing and reasoning you do and every time she cries it gets louder and more shrill. Oh, and your 14 year old has dyed her hair pink and made wings on her eyes and thinks she is going to school like that. All of this is happening while you are trying to pack 3 lunch boxes, iron your clothes and get all 3 kids in the car in the next 15 minutes or EVERYONE is late! That my friends is what we call SURVIVIN'! We make things happen! We Boss up, don't complain and execute the plan with precision and tact!
This is what moms do every single day. Some days are long! Some days are FANTASTIC! Some days we just want to give up and throw the entire day away. Being a parent is hard work. Being a mom is even harder. But when we are able to survive the ups and downs that life throws at us as parents, we are stronger then we were the day before.
