Broken Spirit: The Sacrifice of God

A real story yet seems surreal. A Radical Conversion from a Taoist monk in a cult to a Christian in Theological Seminary. Call me Simpleton, since I once was stupid enough. Maybe more foolish than you can imagine. In a deceitful cult in South Korea, I worshipped shamanic idols, bowed false prophets, and chanted endlessly meaningless mantras over a million times. Moreover, I rebuked publicly Christ Jesus; further, I attacked several Christian Student Clubs in college campus. Those are, however, just the tip of the iceberg. Nevertheless, I am a Christian Now. More precisely, I have studied theology since last fall at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Yes, I Am Chosen! Absolutely a broken spirit. Completely a contrite heart. I'd been, strictly speaking, a spiritual slave to wicked idols and prophets in that cult. They've brainwashed lots of poor and young souls into obeying ugly idols. They're no less than devils. Or maybe no more than a mere dust. Luckily, I'd escaped from the cult, and eventu-ally became a Christian. To be honest, after I had been redeemed by my Lord, Jesus Christ, I realized that the shameful season in my life was in His plans. He truly made me a broken spirit, which destroyed my deep ignorance and high arrogance; furthermore, which forced me finally to surrender to the Trinity. Frankly, I willingly surrendered to my Lord, Jesus Christ, since I deeply realized the simple yet splendid truth: Christ is Jesus forever! Thus, this book focused not on my personal story in the cult but upon the glory of the gospel I met, which means that this humble book tells just a little about my real story, uglier than a caterpillar; rather, it tells why I knelt down to the Triune God, and how the Bible changed my whole life.
