A mind control device is invented by an assassination brainwashing death cult, who are trying to prove firstly that they can create violent killers, and secondly that they can prove there is no criminal responsibility for the crimes. An underground radio host gets implanted by their devices and as his successful ratings go higher and higher, more and more killings start to happen, within hours of his political activism speeches. Eventually the .killers start to attack politicians and public figures. He is convicted and locked up for being insane as the authorities don't believe him, and he goes through fifteen years of extensive torture and brain damage.
