Marj clearly felt that God called her to be a single lady missionary. But then her good friend Troy Bennett, also felt the call. This is the story of her life including the 33 years overseas in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. She experienced everything from a frog in the toilet to the end of Apartheid; from growing up one of 10 children grating coconut the Bengali way. She saw the green velvety lushness of rice fields in monsoon season, the dark starlit beauty of the Arabian desert, the awesome glory of the Himalayas, and the pride of the very poor living their lives with incredible dignity. Marj takes you on her life journey from her early years through each "term" they spent in various locations as a missionary family. She includes tidbits on how delightful the people they served were no matter where they went, the dangers they encountered, prices of common American items in the 1930s and 1940s, and the struggles that emerged as their children grew older.
