I Am M.E.: I Am My Experiences

As a scribe, I am M.E. is quite simple yet powerful and entertaining, as I encompass a path of life that not only I but "we all" often choose in our own way. I am transparent in sharing my challenges from seventeen years old until now, twenty-eight years later, when you are reading "our" book. The fact that I was weighed down for decades with the thoughts of others suppressed all of me. But then, it hit me, just be M.E., whether right or wrong, good or bad, healthy or unhealthy, flesh or spirit, I had arrived at where I am because of My Experiences, and that was an understanding of my self-worth no one could take from me.

But still, the faces, the voices, the noise, and the shift tried to seep through . . . until the day I sat at the foot of my bed and my tears became more than a cry - they were a moan for real help. I had to get desperate enough to truly want this change. It is in the moment of my truth that I felt a gentle tug, and he whispered to me the assurance that although "It Ain't Ova, yet," "The Real Shift" is just ahead and I will soon be able to affirm and pronounce the change in my life.
