Murder at the Opera House

A night at the opera ends in murder. Lady Marjorie will need to be at her razor-sharp best to solve this one...

Lady Marjorie Snellthorpe reluctantly agrees to accompany her irritating cousin-in-law, Edna Parkinton on an organised tour, starting in Romania.

Looking for rest and relaxation after their last trip ended up as a murder investigation, things don't quite go to plan. Edna is pleased when they encounter Horace Tyler from their previous holiday and Marjorie believes she will make a new friend in Frederick Mackworth.Their peace is shattered when they meet with an argumentative and annoying sextet, including a petulant diva. The whole party is detained in Cluj-Napoca after a body is found at the end of their night at the opera.

The death of one among their company raises questions about who might have wanted to kill the seemingly unpopular diva, Dolores Hagman. With a plethora of suspects, Marjorie and Edna lock horns while trying to discover who was responsible.

It appears the dead woman's friends and family are more interested on continuing with their holiday than finding a killer. With each harbouring secrets they would rather remain untold, Marjorie and her pensioner pals have their work cut out.

Can Marjorie get to the bottom of a troubling murder without killing her cousin-in-law and ending up in a Romanian jail? A snob and a slob, will they be able to work together to unravel the mystery?
