Greyson notices that his 32-year-old daughter Veronica, a successful millennial, is obsessed with getting married. She has already missed her original goal...to be a wife by thirty. Devising ways to make her marriage dream come true, Veronica searches for potential husbands in all the wrong places, while her father Greyson watches those men mistreat his daughter. There is nothing more frustrating for a father than to see his daughter's obsession with getting married in a frantic search for a husband; leaving a trail of hurt and brokenness.
Frustrated, Greyson's answered prayers prompt him to invite Veronica on a two-day fishing trip, where he has planned a one-on-one intervention. Cherishing her childhood memories of fishing with her dad, Veronica agrees to join her father on the trip and looks forward to spending this time with him. She has no idea that her dad is on a mission to rescue her, through their Christian faith and teaching about intentional dating.
As a seasoned fisher, Greyson sees the behavioral similarities between men and fish, so he invents five metaphorical stories he shares with his daughter on their trip. Four highlight the dating mistakes his daughter continues making even now. The fifth story Greyson shares reveals how Veronica can attract the man she really wants...the man God has chosen just for her. He is "The CATCH No One Wants," and he is standing right in front of her.
