Love, Music, and Barbeque Chips is a love story which highlights the growth of two individuals who found one another through the fog of life. Some would even say it is a guiding hand book reflecting truth, understanding, thoughtful questions, heart aches, pains, gut busting humor, and a collection of poems that you will surely relate too. Ashanta and William would call it a testament to their will-power to not give up on love even when times became very challenging. They would also say it gives hope to many knowing God is at the helm of every stitch of fabric called relationships.

About The Authors

What can be said about two people who see life and love from a grand perspective? Well first before anything we are parents who wake up every day putting one foot in front of the other, trying to be the best people we can be. Our greatest joy is to see others grow into more divine individuals throughout their love lives. Ashanta spends her days working hand and hand with the mentally challenged and physically disable. She also mentors young women and girls who share similar obstacles she faced growing up. While William spends his days creating books, mentoring young people, recording music@ IcarusGang, and being the voice of impacting change.

Ashanta and William are very passionate about running their greeting card lines (A.L.O.T -Actually Living off Talent) and Lovett Cards. The pair has collaborated on several children's book recently which presents a more daring approach toward addressing the mental health of our younger generations to come.

But no matter what they do in life, it's clear they put God first with a lot of love.
