This leads Jack and his partner Homes Kinney to Angel Fire, New Mexico, the man's home town where they find he is far from the religious zealot he appears to be. A beautiful Apache woman tells Jack the man is dangerous and evil and Jack and Homes barely escape with their lives as they investigate. The man comes to trial in Atlanta and draws nationwide attention. The trial reveals even more dramatic events and finishes with a chilling outcome.
