The rapid and devastating spread of the COVID-19 has transformed the lives of people across the world. The evolution of the corona virus is the main reason for the subsequent waves. Duration of hospitalization and fatality rate of those afflicted in the second and third waves are lower than those in the first wave. As compared to the first wave, the second and third waves are moving/moved faster. Continual data analysis in order to recognise the virus's dynamical behaviour is required for predicting and controlling the epidemic.
This book provides a better understanding of mutant strains and their pathogenicity by performing genomic sequences of samples. The authors have developed fractal models and described them for a better understanding of the previous waves and implement new innovations for precautionary action to fight against various challenges posed by COVID-19. Each fractal-based analysis in this book provides its unique forecasting policy to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The book will benefit clinicians, educators, scientists, industrialists and policymakers in handling the crisis of the outbreak.
