Everyone has a "thing". Some of us have more "things" than others. Your "thing" could be a behavior, belief, way of being, an experience that you cannot let go of, or something else. Whatever your "thing" is, you must get to the root of it. You will never see new fruit until you first deal with the root.

Calling a "thing" a "thing" is simply telling the truth. It can be difficult. It may scare you. It may offend you. For these reasons we delete information, embellish and stretch the story, or we avoid the issue altogether. This book will challenge your assumptions, abilities, thoughts, and everything in between to empower you to tell the truth, interrupt your story, and do the work.

We all have a "thing". Expose it! Call it what it really is. When you tell the truth to yourself about yourself you bring yourself into alignment with God's purpose for your life. When you choose to look right at a "thing", acknowledge its existence, call it exactly by its name, and then decide what role it will play in your life, you have just chosen to take the first step toward freedom.
