Prince Hiromada of the Aikawa family has been kidnapped and taken to a another country. He was rescued however by a girl, whom he had promised he would see again.
Years later, a foreign swordsman named Alastair invaded Hiromada's home and attempted to assassinate him, accusing the young prince of murdering his wife and daughter. Only to discover that he was the father of the very same girl Hiromada had met.
The two then set off on a journey to search for answers on what happened to Alastair's family.
