What Time I Am Afraid

This world is full of negative circumstances and the opportunity to respond in fear. When fear comes in waves pounding against us, and we find it hard to be thankful in our circumstances we can still have peace, knowing that we have the Lord's help. There is no storm so strong that He cannot calm it. As we fully trust in the Lord, we will find Him both capable and willing to help us through anything that life sends us.

When David wrote Psalm 56, he did not say I will never be afraid. Instead, he said. "When fear comes, I will trust in God." When we rely on the relationship we have with Him, it will produce a barrier to the fear that will force it back into proportion.

Rev. Kathy Smith was saved by grace in 1972 and in 1980 she was filled with the Holy Spirit and called to preach.
