"Oh, That's Why God Says, 'Thou Shalt Not'" is a book that will allow you to take a closer look at God's Law: The Ten Commandments. It will give you an up close look at life through the eyes of our Heavenly Father.The author "writes the vision and makes it plain," by relating it to today's time and the personal experiences that affect our everyday lives. This book will remind us of why God gave us His law and show that His rules were made for our benefit, to keep us safe. Although a poignant view of what happens when we disobey God's law, it conveys His love and redeeming power through it all. Then, hopefully you too will say: "Oh, That's Why God Says, 'Thou Shalt Not'!" Bronwyn has been an educator for 30+ years in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. She holds a M.Ed in K-12 Administration and an M.S. as a K-12 Reading Specialist. She is the wife of retired Sergeant Major Mark T. Robinson, Sr. and the mother of four adult children: Rachel, Mark, Jr., Christopher, and Marlena. She is an active member in her church's choir and teaches Sunday school. Bronwyn grew up in the infamous lower ninth ward, which was completely demolished and devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Although a product of the lower nine, Bronwyn's Christian upbringing and commitment to Christ gave her the vision and fortitude to rise above the environmental ills, deprivation, and dysfunction of the 'hood while endeavoring to become set apart and impactful to the children and families in the community in which she serves.
