Readings from the Shah Nameh

The culture of Iran includes its national epic composed in the Persian language, the Shah Nameh. This book was written by Abul-Ghasem Ferdowsi and is over 1000 years old. In its original form, the Shah Nameh is the longest poem in world history composed by a single author.
