I would need God more during these times than ever. Thankfully, my precious mother and father, Evialee and Walter Matney, taught me the ways of the Lord. They lived a life before me that at the age of seventy-four, their teaching still permeates my soul.
The devotions in this book include stories from my childhood and adolescence, and throughout the years of raising my children. It concludes my senior years-what I learned along the way. I fell on my knees, asking God for wisdom and knowledge, not knowing what to do. Experiences with the Lord gave me the hope I needed as I made my journey in life.
