Spiritual Dynamics: The Metaphysical Realities Explained

The Author on Spiritual Dynamics: The Underlying Ideas: Most books start with a few advance ideas. These were mine for Spiritual Dynamics

• First, I wanted to answer my own unanswered questions and add in and connect the missing dots regarding Christian Redemption. So, I spent the last 40+ years searching it all out. And now, I've written it all down.
• Second, I wanted the concepts of the book to flow easily into the mind of the reader. So, I burned my Dictionary of Insider Speak before I started writing.
• Third, it was important that I not sound like just another theological nerd. So, I... Well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Just kidding. So I scattered in a little organic humor along the way. What nerd ever did that?

Christian redemption is not really that complicated, but it is beautifully sophisticated. In Spiritual Dynamics I tried to continually respect both of those ideas. In my mind, to overly complicate what simply works out to be about a comfortable, durable, and deeply fulfilling divine friendship is just not necessary - and even a bit disrespectful of God's seeming preference for clarity.

On the other hand, not to show off both the pragmatic and the aesthetic sophistication of the redemptive process would be absolutely unforgivable - and completely unfulfilling to me as the guy who set out to do that very thing. So, "Simple and beautifully sophisticated," I thought. "Yeah, let's write that."

The Overview:

Spiritual Dynamics is about 3 things: Relationship, War, and the Tactics involved in both. When you take the long look, Christian Redemption is really just a heart-wrenching love story, set in the backdrop of the war between the Light and the Darkness. And, pursuant to that reality, there are the main players to be identified and defined. There are the issues of the conflict to be understood. There are sides to be chosen and hard choices to be made. And, there are the tactical gambits to be both employed and countered on both sides.

And, in the middle of it all, there is tender love, personal sacrifice, deep sorrow and great joy. Perhaps Spiritual Dynamics would be best considered merely a humble review of the greatest and most consequential drama ever to be played out on the stage of reality.
