Definition and Meaning of Ethics:
Ethical evolution in this world is followed by social evolution. Culture and Civilization developed
on social adjustment and scientific development. The social adjustment could be possible on some
social norms. In course of time, the social norms were develo ed a human habits. The human
habits were settled into social customs. The word Ethics is derived from the Greek adjective
''Ethica" hich comes from the substantiiVe " EthQS" . Ethos means customs, usages, or habits.
Ethics is otherwise called "Moral Philosophy". The word moral is derived from the Latin
substantive "Mores" which also means customs or habits. Customs are not merely the habitual ways
of living or acting but they are also the ways approved by the group.
