Social media is not the enemy. It is what a person does with social media that makes it beneficial or detrimental to those who use it. Young Changemakers is a book that highlights the stories of 12 youth who have used social media in many different ways to make a positive impact in the world. They have used it to either spread light and hope, as a tool for learning, to reach out to other youth to collaborate on projects and to connect with adults for mentorship. These are just 12 of many young people who are doing the same! It is time to bring the voice of the younger generation, who truly want to make this world a better place, to the masses. It is time to spread the stories of youth making a positive impact to help other youth, who may be struggling at this moment, believe that they too can make a positive impact on those around them, whether big or small. It is time to use our voice to lift each other up and not break each other down. Be bold. Be brave. Be the light, and... Be the change you want to see in the world.
