Princess Alice is eleven years old, and she longs for freedom. She wants to run around with her hair loose and free, climb trees, explore the nearby mountains, and say what she wishes. After the summer passes, Alice and Seraphina set out on a journey to a hidden, magical land-a safe place where the bear can have her cubs. Along the way, the princess and the bear have many helpful and interesting conversations, with Seraphina offering her guidance. Will the bear's advice give the princess the confidence she needs to embark on another adventure by herself?
