Baab-e-Ghazal / बाब - ए - ग़ज़ल

Ghazals is a popular form of poetry in Urdu Adab. It has a unique characteristics of saying very big messages in few couplets. Other important aspect of Ghazal is way of expressing the thoughts. One of the best examples is following sher of Meer.
Nazuki uske lab ki kya kahiye
Pankhudi Ek Gulab ki si hai

This is one of the finest gems of Urdu Shayari. This fascinates many people towards shayari.

Then we have following sher of Ghalib-
Hai aur bhi duniya me sukhanwar bohot achche

Kehte hain ke Ghalib ka hai andaz e Bayan Aur

Mera Dushman to mujhse INtehai Ishq karta hai

Mujhe Ehsas aisa ho raha uske bayano me

Yeh Maana ishq me Mahir nahi mein

Magar mein Qais se kam bhi nahi hun

Ise zameen ki jannat Kahen na kyun Mahir

Yeh Mulk sabse hasee bhi hai Bemisal bhi hai
