Have you ever wondered who defined women throughout history and why? Why was the place of women in society been so twisted? Who was responsible for such distortions? What philosophers contributed to these alterations from what the Bible says? Why was the spiritual understanding of God as Mother as well as Father in both the Old and New Testaments not preached from all pulpits? Women are not defined by history, ancient Greek philosophy, Plato, Aristotle, or any other mistaken views imposed on them. Awareness is important of who and how these ideas so influenced views of women and were later Christianized in theology in contrast to the equality expressed by the Messiah and his relentless apostle Paul. As the understanding of Elohim extends, the freedom of women expands. An objective analysis of the Scriptures shows that women are as much the image and likeness of God as any man - the divine Mind of the universe, eternal Life, infinite Spirit, absolute Truth, pure Soul, and unconditional Love. How our understanding of God elevates our understanding of the equality of women through the ideas not only in the Bible, but also in the writings of poets and historical and literary figures through time.
