With Annabelle and Marcus' ABCs of Romance course in full swing, are they one step closer to settling their score? Runa has been called many things- beautiful, smart, elusive, but most commonly? A free spirit. People think that Runa, who hails from Iceland, will go where the wind takes her. Being a "free spirit" while working in small town government, especially for the dreaded Eleanor Boothman, does not bode well. When Runa is a up for a promotion, Eleanor unfairly questions Runa's ties to the town. She still lives with her parents and could pick up and leave for greener pastures at minute! Can Runa put down roots while still maintaining her independence?
Titus has been lovesick over Runa since high school. Sadly, this love has remained unrequited. When an unexpected flood leaves Runa with a roof over her head, she turns to Titus. When they wake up to a surprise visit from Titus', conservative preacher grandfather, he naturally assumes the woman sleeping in his grandson's house is his finance... and a lightbulb goes off for Runa. Titus could be the proof she needs to secure her promotion.
Things quickly spiral out of control (thanks to fair bit of meddling by Louise) and next thing she knows, Runa is planning her fake wedding. Will this be the thing to finally change Runa's mind about Marcus or will the ruse come crumbling down?
