""This little book of poems is like a journal of my thoughts, just as I show up each day. Sometimes my thoughts are of others, for others, what I wish for others, sometimes they are internal, the deep thoughts, the speaking of my heart. I have found writing poetry one of the most deeply compassionate ways I can connect with myself and what my heart is trying to say. A form of active journaling, to express without over thinking, to write the words that come for the heart but with a protection of the structure and rhyming sequences, your thoughts do not take over, you get to the true depth of within. This collection of poems is therefore just a small token of my heart and my mind. In writing I was able to express my current thoughts, feelings and emotions, in what seemed like a tangible ways to hold onto them. I hope you hold onto some of them too.""
