The meanings of indiscipline in teacher training meetings

The research discusses the meanings attributed by secondary school teachers to school indiscipline in the context of the Collective Pedagogical Working Hours (HTPC), in a school of the S緌 Paulo state network in the Piracicaba region. The theme of the discussions among the teachers, mediated by the coordinating teacher and researcher, was indiscipline, a suggestion of the group of teachers participating in the research. The field research involved fourteen secondary school teachers, who met for six meetings in the second half of 2009.
