Sleeping With Alcohol

One day in March of 2011 I sat down at my computer and started to write down events that had happened in my life with my late husband, Christoph. As I kept typing away, "things" started flying out of my head and onto the page. It was in one of these writing-frenzied moments that three poignant words fell onto the page. I was so sick and tired of 'sleeping with alcohol'. At this moment my thoughts were, it has been so long to be breathing in his alcoholic breath. During the last few years of our marriage, I had become so sick and tired of smelling it and sleeping with it. So much so that the only option I had was to exit. Exit I did for three years never to return as the alcohol, on July 06, 2006, had successfully ended Christoph's life!
