The purpose of this book is to demystify, de-stigmatize and humanize cancer for patients, family, loved ones and caregivers. To show cancer in a different light, from a different perspective and in a new voice. To experience cancer not from a clinical, disease standpoint but a complicated, emotional, spiritual, human standpoint This book explains the journey through cancer not from a clinical standpoint but a human standpoint in order to empower all those affected or touched by cancer. Cancer is complicated but it doesn't have to be paralyzing. Some traveled these paths one by one, some moved back and forth among them, some got stuck in one, some battles were fought on the journey by conflicted travelers and some found peace and completion at the end of their journey. Each step was personal and unique for each traveler. This is their story. Their journeys taught me how to travel my own life with courage, faith, truth and love.
