Design of a 2D building gantry using ROBOT-BAT software

This book is a complementary study of a building gantry. Instead of using the CROSS method or the finite element method, we have proposed in this book a study model of a 2D portal frame using the ROBOT-BAT version 2012 software. The ULS and ELS stresses of an example building plan are calculated, as well as the reinforcement of the most stressed span. In the first chapter of the work, we were able to study the architectural plans of a building in accordance with the standard. The second chapter enabled us to determine the design assumptions and studies for a transverse gantry of the building. We also calculated the various superstructure elements such as columns and beams.
