Seth Tabor purchases land from Coy Bryant and settles on Big Creek with a view of where the creek joins the Buffalo River. The hickory trees that grow on the bench land prove perfect for his trade of making handles for farm tools. Melissa captures his heart and their relationship grows, but questions of what he saw that day, and his search for answers continue to haunt Seth. Will he ever know the truth?
