Blogs as a Technological Tool

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), its history and evolution, because everything has an origin and it is necessary to know where ICT is born and how it is developed, in the same way the concept of ICT, what it is, but also the characteristics that differentiate it. Everything in life has its advantages and disadvantages, just like ICT. The reasons, the use it offers and how it will be inserted in higher education, are points that will be developed in this research, the classification of ICT, because it will be shown that it is not only one, but there are several technological tools that help and give alternation to traditional education. Another of the points to develop are the Blogs, how to teach in a virtual environment, where to begin to virtualise teaching, the birth, concept, without leaving aside the characteristics that it possesses, the use in the classroom, of which parts a Blog is conformed, the advantages and disadvantages that it entails to know and to use the Blogs and to finalise some small advices for the correct use of the Blogs.
