I Am：A month of affirmations - workbook & journal

Positive affirmations are personal statements made in the present tense, encouraging us to live as we wish to live right here, right now - not in the distant future. Affirmations are a simple but powerful practice that can help overcome negative self-talk, inspire change and reconnect us with our values and passions. They even help us to answer the biggest questions of all; who am I and why am I here? The use of affirmations dates back to ancient Egypt; tapping into the power of words to bring thoughts into reality. We can repeat affirmations aloud or silently say them in our mind''s eye. Journaling, drawing, finding quotes or lines of poetry all nourish the energy of affirmations and writing also helps to bring clarity. I Am is an invitation to experience a month of personal affirmations and see what happens. A process for creating affirmations is offered and the workbook is then divided into four weeks that guide the reader on a journey, encouraging daily practice.
