Study of the master plan for the city of Relizane's sanitation network

The town of ElMatmar is completely devoid of a stormwater network. There is, however, a wastewater network in a few neighborhoods. Unfortunately, rainwater in various places is often discharged into the wastewater network, creating serious problems. The aim of our study is to identify the sanitation shortcomings of the ElMatmar agglomeration, and to plan the development, rehabilitation and extension of the existing network. In order to achieve the objectives outlined above, three essential stages were carried out. The first involved establishing a diagnosis of the existing network; the second, a survey of the same network, this time including extension zones and recently urbanized areas; and the third, which could be carried out directly in the field. The second involved the layout and sizing of the general sewerage scheme, including extension zones and recently urbanized areas, and finally, given the topographical configuration of the study area, lift stations were proposed and sized.
