Twenty-eight-year old, Kelly Albright has always been a planner. A career in finance was an obvious choice, and dating her high school sweetheart was a no-brainer; but quitting her nine-to-five banking job to start her event planning business, while at the same time breaking up with the love of her life, wasn't in her plans.

Insisting on being her planning assistant, he's hoping time together will put a spark in their relationship and win her back. However, when the June weather heats up, so do the fires in California threatening to smother his plans. While Brad is away, he learns of Kelly's business struggles and sees the strength of the woman he'd fallen in love with; it's then and there that Brad decides to show Kelly exactly what forever means.
