The Storybook WITCH

The Storybook Witch is a beautifully illustrated children's poem designed to be read aloud, just spooky enough to enthrall little ones but not to scare. It follows the storybook witch, on her night time travels, on a moonlit night. Its cadence is meant to introduce younger children to the rhythm of language, and to give them a beginning love for poetry. Who does the storybook witch meet on her journey? What does she see? What does she do? Children can follow her journey by looking at the pictures whilst an adult or older sibling reads the words.

This has been a favourite children's poem for many, since it was written a quarter of a century ago, but this is its first time in book form. It's in a handy size that can be carried by little hands so that it can be something they can look at time and time again.
