" Seldom have anthologies appeared that demonstrate the breadth and scope of genre and styles that can be found in this little volume. The stories mix sidesplitting slapstick with historical and political imperative, yet all are invitingly readable and each in their own way extremely thought provoking. The verses include themes of heterosexual love, single sex relationships, death and dying and of "Mans' " sacrifices from biblical times right up to the present day. One or two exhibit a mix of intrigue and are suggestive of clandestine activities.
