When I discovered that I possessed a genuine flair for poetical writing I wanted to cherish this ability with love; I wanted my gift of writing to become something far more than just a skilled hobby used to fill slight voids of boredom but yet more like a vast adventure in my life. But along with ascending towards heights where my imagination could take me, I then found out something that made me smile in admiration. I discovered that
Mariah Brooker my wonderful daughter had also inherited the skill for poetic writing. My daughter made my heart soar with glee because I am a third-generation poet, and that would make my lovely daughter the 4th generation of poets within our family. That truly makes a mother proud to have our legacy carried on within her authorship.
