The Mad Genie DeSalvo and a mysterious Time Mage have severed Dorn's children from their connection to the four Elemental Blades, which keep the nexus of lay lines that The City of Venger feeds off in balance. Without the four blades, The Heart of Venger is vulnerable and DeSalvo and the Time Mage intend on using that vulnerability to get there and release The Chaos Dragon. A creature of chaos and destruction that is more powerful than a god and hell-bent on destroying the world.

Dalen and the Vengerian Guardians must take two of Venger's greatest heroes and travel with them as they quest for the Elemental Blades. Retrieving them not only grants them the right to become The City of Venger's first king and queen but combining them creates the only weapon that can stop The Chaos Dragon. The problem is that when the blades were severed from their original masters, they were cast through time and space and must now be found. Somewhere in the world, they hide; can the Vengerian heroes find them in time?
