Dominic Petrossi has just opened the bookstore he always dreamt of, when the past comes to haunt his days of joy.
A murdered priest twenty years ago. A case of abuse by a priest where his best friend Edmund accused Father Saint Pierre of shattering his childhood innocence. Edmund and Dominic, together, hatched a plan to expose the incriminated molester by setting a trap. But the events that transpired led Edmund to serve twenty years in jail for a crime he did not commit.

The book narrates a case very similar to that of him and Edmund. Dominic's peace is ruined once he remembers the incident from twenty years ago.
