Stress in pre-hospital care personnel

Stress is a serious problem faced by individuals worldwide, in Mexico seven out of ten workers are affected by this problem, this disorder not only damages the physical and mental health of workers, but also affects the work environment and decreases the productivity of organizations, making them less competitive. Health professionals working in pre-hospital care are exposed to different situations that generate stress, long working hours, work overload, direct contact with death, immediate decision making, lack of resources to carry out their work activities, interpersonal conflicts, such conditions may cause workers to leave the workplace or the profession.
