The sad truth is that there are children in this world who will suffer. Of those stricken by the worst experiences, whose trauma warped their mind and shattered their soul, there is the chance that an otherworldly power may manifest. To some, the newly found strength can be a tool to help them recover. Others may believe the uncontrollable energy is a curse that hurts those closest to them. The more malicious-minded might see a weapon. Whatever the intention, such powers are dangerous, especially in the hands of a deeply damaged individual.
