Zeus and Iliad

Zeus and Iliad is a spellbinding tale of love, myth, fear, and destiny, set against the vibrant landscapes of Athens and a secluded island near Istanbul. Iliad, a young woman of mixed Turkish and Greek heritage, has always believed she was ordinary-until she discovers she is anything but. Her world shifts when Nyx, a brilliant chemical engineer and wealthy businessman, also of mixed heritage, is forced to take shelter on the island she has called home since childhood. A raging storm threatens his yacht, but the tempest at sea is nothing compared to the storm about to consume their lives.

Beneath the surface, forces far older than time are at play, and nothing is a coincidence. Their fates are entwined with the gods themselves. As Iliad and Nyx are drawn deeper into a celestial battle of wills, they must confront an agonizing truth: they are mere pawns in a game as ancient as the gods. Torn between love, secrets, eerie visions, and specters capable of driving one to death by sheer terror, they must fight for their own fates in a world where ancient myths are no longer myths-it is their reality. Author's Note: I first wrote Zeus and Iliad in Turkish in 2009 and published it in my country. While working on my Desert Rose trilogy in English, I also decided to translate Zeus and Iliad-a process that took two years. During this time, the story evolved, and the plot deepened and expanded as I, now in my early 40s, revisited it with the perspective of someone much different from the 20-year-old version of myself who originally wrote it. While the Turkish version, still available in some local online stores, follows the same core storyline, the magnificent tale of Prometheus and Nyx is exclusive to this English edition.
