WHY ISRAEL MATTERS TO ALL BELEIVERS "Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, And whoever curses Israel will be cursed" (Genesis 12:3, Numbers 24:9b). Israel brought God's greatest blessing to the entire world. Surely, it's time to return the gift by blessings and standing Israel!
In this pathbreaking volume, Charles Shefler makes the case why Israel matters. He highlights the connection Christians have with the Holy Land and God's Chosen People. He explores the "missing link" between God's covenant relationship to Israel and faith in Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ).. He unearths how much of Christendom has strayed from its Jewish spiritual heritage, and severed itself off from the fruitful vine of the rich fertile Olive Tree rooted in Israel (Romans 11) into which all Gentile Christians are grafted ---the vine to which Jesus Himself belonged.
Born to a Jewish family, it took Shefler many years to learn that Christianity isn't a religion of the Gentiles, but an offshoot of Jewish faith. As he shares his story, you will gain a better understanding of how your faith is blessed by its Jewish roots and Israel.
Moreover, you'll learn how you can live as a blessing to the Jewish people and stand with the nation of Israel today. It will give you a new paradigm for understanding your Bible from Genesis to Revelation and will fuel a new devotion to the God who commissioned His own Son to bring the Good News to the Hebrew nation and through them to us all.
