Bartlett enjoyed pranks and mischief, especially when they caused shrieks from his mother's friends. Bartlett would roam the neighborhood seeking an easy prank; such as, letting the air out of car tires. Even the local fire truck was a target of his pranks. The neighborhood tolerated the pranks because they knew Bartlett was harmless and growing through the mischief phase.
